Pandora’s Box

I’ve been a huge fan of Pandora for awhile now. It’s the perfect balance between radio and my own mp3 collection. It really is a great way to discover new music. I was incredibly happy to learn that they have new songs by Over the Rhine in their rotation, especially since I’ve been remiss in picking up their latest CD. Check it out. Much how Radio Paradise originally got me interested in OtR, Pandora has turned me on to Allison Crowe and Missy Higgins. Not only that Pandora has been partnering with some of the best hardware manufacturers out there. I’m a big fan of both Sonos and the Squeezebox. They both provide an excellent way of enjoying some of the best music out there. Sadly the Sonos system is just too damn expensive. When I (finally) upgrade my phone I’ll likely pick up the Pandora on the Go service if it’s offered. Of course all of this is dependent on Pandora not going out of business.
